It didn’t happen on the seem which is a good sign of quality craftsmanship, but as far as the quality of the Jean material I fee it should be able to withstand a mere 3-8lbs of force. It has only been four months of owning the jeans.

I am normally a 34 to 35W and the 32W waist fit well due to the amount of stretch in these jeans (without being tight), even though these jeans are 98% cotton. So definitely plan to size down in the waist when ordering.These jeans are very comfortable and have a typical "relaxed" fit, even though they don't have as much stretch in other areas (which they don't need IMO) like the BKE Tyler "superior stretch" jeans do. But otherwise, they fit almost identical to the BKE Tyler.My only disappointment was they seem to set a little lower on the waist than expected for a mid-rise jean.Overall, I would recommend. These are a nice fitting pair of jeans with a "relaxed" fit.
